Advertising Agency Ogilvy&Mather participated in this year's advertising challenge of BBC's successful TV series "The Apprentice". Two teams of young business enthusiasts were faced with the task of designing and creating an ad campaign for a tissue brand. Afterwards they had to present their creative ideas to Ogilvy&Mather agency that played the role of their client.
7 remaining contenders of the famous business reality show had a task of designing their own brand of tissues and creating a story-based TV and poster campaign. After a two-day deadline for completing the task, both teams pitched to the boss of Apprentice, Sir Alan Sugar (British double of Donald Trump); Ogilvy chairman Gary Leih; Ogilvy executive creative director Rory Sutherland; and chief executive of Coley Porter Bell*, Vicky Bullen. Meanwhile, their presentations were also judged by a group of 20 normal consumers.
*Coley Porter Bell is a design agency that is a part of the same network as Ogilvy&Mather, called WPP.
The love for brands, the creativity in all aspects of life, the continuous search for new and better communication strategies, the need to combine people and messages, the passion of detecting and creating new trends, the accumulation of knowledge and the eagerness for making and achieving our goals - these are the values that create our agency.
