Mojmir Ocvirk, the CEO of Imelda Ogily network, said: "We are always happy to see our agencies win such important awards. This proves that the agencies in our network have the right creative orientation.«
The person who can take the most credit for the Newborn sculpture, Ismaili Fisnik, has expressed his enthusiasm in these words: »It is hard to put feelings into words after getting these awards. They give high recognition to our work and even bigger motivation for further creation inside Ogilvy Kosovo agency and in whole Imelda Ogilvy network. We cannot forget that our success was partly due to the support of Imelda Ogilvy network.«
The Newborn sculpture has been presented to the worldwide public by Ogilvy Kosovo on 17th of February 2008, when Kosovo independence was announced. Newborn is a typographic sculpture that spells out the English word "newborn" and it symbolizes not only the birth of a new country and their lives but a lot more. It offers an opportunity for people to express their most secret wishes, their hopes and to look into the eyes of the future.
Newborn weighs 9 tons, it is 24 meters long and 4 meters high. For now it represents the only monument to the Kosovo Republic independence declaration. The participants at the public celebration of the day when Kosovo gained its independence were able to permanently mark their most secret wishes and expectations on the sculpture.
Regional director of Imelda Ogilvy, Matej Silič, who is in charge of creative development of all seven agencies in South-Eastern Europe said that the Newborn sculpture proves that "inovative advertising is not meant only for branding but can reach further in an emotional world.«
