Problem


For many years Krka has been one of leading players on the Slovenian stock exchange. For this reason company's communication with investors is crucial. The annual report is certainly a very important communication tool.
The client wanted that their 2008 annual report would present Krka as innovative generic pharmaceutical company that successfully accomplishes its mission, vision, values and strategy. Annual report had to emphasise the achievements in Krka's key markets - the markets of Central, Eastern, South Eastern and Western Europe.

Solution

The task of creating an annual report for Krka that would be better from the previous, awarded one, brought an interesting challenge into our agency. Krka is undoubtedly one of the leading pharmaceutical companies present in more than 70 countries worldwide. The company is primarily focused on developing their own high quality generic medicines with added value, generated through their own innovations and brands. In addition, Krka's 2008 annual report explains us a story about origin of innovations. In this part we focused on 4 steps in the process of innovation - inspiration, orientation, creativity and evaluation. In conslusion, we created a reader-friendly annual report with fresh design and pictures that strengthen core messages. The ecological aspect of the project was met with the choice of right paper that enabled us to use 50 percent less paper than usual.
