Abanka developed a new service - Design your card! How to introduce it in a fresh and innovative way to youngsters between 15 and 27, as well as inform them about advantages of Abanka’s Akeš account for young?
Solution
Together with Abanka we created a communication campaign for sub brand Akeš aimed at high-schoolers and students. Emphasize was on Design your card!, service that enables its users to commission a bank card with image and design of their own choice. A website http://natecaj.akes.si was created, on which visitors can express their creativity, by designing their own bank card and enter a design contest with rich prizes. Visitors use a special application, with which they can upload photos, use drawing tools and various pre-designed shapes. They publish their card in a web gallery and try to get as much votes as possible, with the help of Facebook, Twitter and emails. 100 contestants with the most votes enter a finale, jury then picks three winners.
Every communication element in a campaign directs to website http://natecaj.akes.si, which besides hosting a design contest also communicates other services and products of Abanka. In order to get as close to target group as possible, Abanka created Facebook account for Akeš, to inform Facebook users about design contest. Elements of campaign are: website, web application, design contest and prize draw for voters, billboards, flyers, LCD screens in city buses, Facebook, Twitter, web banners and promotional gifts.
